Mr Michael Fox

Mr Michael Fox MB BS BSc (Hons) FRCS (Tr & Orth)

Mr Michael Fox was appointed as a Consultant in the Peripheral Nerve Injury (PNI) Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust, Stanmore in 2008. The PNI Unit at the RNOH is a tertiary referral centre, treating complex cases of nerve injury that are referred from hospitals throughout the United Kingdom.

Michael graduated from University College London Medical School in 1996 and completed his senior orthopaedic training on the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital rotation in London. He has also undertaken fellowships in Paris, Los Angeles, Boston and Houston for nerve injuries and Salzburg (AO Fellowship) for trauma and shoulder surgery.

Currently actively involved in the training of higher surgical trainees on the London Orthopaedic rotations, Michael has an ongoing interest in research within the department and he is a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association.

His practice at the Wellington Hospital deals exclusively with the treatment of complex nerve injury and associated trauma.

Mr M. Sinisi

Mr M. Sinisi MD Consultant Peripheral Nerve Surgeon

In 2004 Mr Marco Sinisi was appointed Consultant at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) in Stanmore working on the Peripheral Nerve Injury (PNI) Unit. He is a Neurosurgeon by training, having graduated from the University of Milan in 1997 and then completed his training in Neurosurgery in the Institute of Neurosurgery of Milan.

In 2002, Mr Sinisi was appointed to a permanent consultancy at the Carlo Besta Neurological Institute of Milan, a centre of excellence among neurosurgical centers in Italy, where he was the lead surgeon for the development of the treatment of surgical disorders of peripheral nerves.

Mr Sinisi holds the post of Honorary Senior Lecturer in Nerve Surgery for Imperial College London. His scientific work encompasses over forty nationally and internationally published scientific papers/presentations.
